The Boljoon Up-Beat Band, Inc. is a socio-civic group organized and existing under the laws of the Philippines . It is an incorporated organization of music-loving Boljo-anons who are bonded with a common desire to preserve the rich musical heritage of Boljoon and to promote camaraderie among the musically-inclined Boljo-anons for their collective good.

Up-Beat Band was founded in 1970 by concerned musicians who were then members of the Boljoon Parochial Band. Motivated to elevate the profession of a musician and to create a strong bond among the members, these pioneering members braved all challenges which came the way and succeeded in forging a very strong and cohesive organization which is now looked upon in the community as a professional organization.

Apart from its social and civic concerns, Up-Beat Band is united by a collective devotion to our Lady of Fatima whom it venerates and proclaimed as its patroness. The group celebrates the annual fiesta of the Blessed Virgin Mary every last Saturday of May as a form of thanksgiving for the graces and favors bestowed by the Almighty to each member, their family and friends through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin.

From a small group of musicians at the time it was founded, Up-Beat Band has since become a strong and united organization with membership of more than a hundred many of whom have become successful in their chosen field of profession by reason of being musicians. Proud of their musical talents, the members of the Boljoon Up-Beat Band strive to become role-models in the community through their humble efforts in preserving the rich musical heritage of Boljoon and by showcasing the success achieved by its members.
